About gaswarm June 17, 2024 About Gaswarm My name is Ian Harkess I am the Director and founder of Gaswarm , I started my apprenticeship with Scottish Gas http://www.britishgas.co.uk on the 15th of June 1970 which by the way is the same day natural gas came to the Scottish Borders. I served my apprenticeship in Musselburgh and Edinburgh. One year after my apprenticeship finished i was promoted to technical assistant within Scottish Gas assisting in natural gas conversion. After conversion I worked in the Scottish Gas training centre for several years. I started Gaswarm http://www.gaswarm.com in 1981 and have played an active roll in Gaswarm since then.
